Orphans - Open Discussion and Share Your Stories

There are 15 million dual parent orphans in the world and an estimated 175 million single parent orphans. In many countries, these children are struggling to survive and in some cases being traded into sex slavery. In Russia the statistics are staggering. Approximately 90% of orphans will end up in crime, drugs, and/or prison after "graduating" from their orphanage. In other countries children are living in sewers.

the she is a he and i think he told me he was 6 i can never turn down a hurted and pained face. I dont think hurted is a word.But i have a soft spot for the weak.

i was in nashville tenesse with my dad because i barley get to see my dad.i brought my recorder so i could give it to my friend.i saw a kid in the alleyway and i gave him my recorder.i taught him a few notes and songs it was really fun.after about 20 minutes i finally saw him smile it made me happy.so this summer i volunteered at a library.i love making other people smile.the kid i gave my recorder sent me a letter (i wrote my address for him) said that a famil adopted him.they saw him on the street playing my old recorder.so little things do help.ill be happy to do another story but i have to ask first.write me back.

Did you know that the worlds population is supposed to reach 7 billion people.So if i were to split the population by 2 . 1 for adults the other for kids that would be around 3.5 billion kids.so if you add all the orphans up it would be around 190 million orphans.so if you do the math. So that means that there are only 498100000000 kids that have parents.I want to see if that number can go up.i think i did it wrong so if you get bored feel free to try it.

I really want to write my story here but I keep having a hard time acctually posting. Eventually I'll work up the nerve to do it but it's goodto had something here like this. I'll be happy to read other stories. :)
